At present, various business system database of the bank has been stored in a large number of data Information of special merchants POS acquiring business. How to use data mining techniques ecientifically to integration and analysis this part of the data, and achieve targeted marketing and service of banking customers and improve the cardholder's satisfaction,loyalty and adhesiveness is the priority work of the banking and the research priority of the banking customer segmentation.This survey is based on data warehousing,and takes data mining methods as the tool,then implements segmentation management of banking customers,at last achieve the design of customer targeted marketing plan based on custumer segmentation. At first, this paper will study the application status of the data warehouse, CRM and customer segmentation in the field of finance and banking, then it will analyse the existing banking data warehouse system structure and summarize the customer segmentation and the basic situation of data mining technology of the current banking. After that to analysis the data source of the POS acquiring business, through the data reseaech, to custom the Teradata FS-LDM according to the data characteristic of the POS acquiring business to classify the theme, and to finish the data warehouseing.Finally, to use the data in the constructed data warehouse and take customer value as the customer segmentation evaluation basis of the bank POS acquiring business, and to use the data mining method of SAS software to build prediction model and cluster analysis model of the data of POS merchants, to realize the customer segmentation of the bank POS acquiring business and description of each segment market properties, and give effective advice to the service and marketing of each segment market.This survey studied a transformation process from data to knowledge, the conclusion of this curvey shall help to data warehousing of bank, banking customer relationship management, customer maintainance and customer value excavation.
