Electric power industry is an important supporting industry that promotes the development of national economy rapidly and steadily.Since the last century in 90s,China's power market entered into a time of high-speed development.With the end of the era of huge profits,the mode that the power construction enterprises inputs a lot of manpower,material resources and financial capacity to extend themselves relying on opportunities of broad power market is invalid.More and more enterprises homogenize gradually in aspect of product and technology.Under the new situation,it is of great practical significance to study project management of power construction.If the power construction enterprise want to stand out from a large number of rivals,the only method is that they should fully develop inherent potentiality,get rid of the rude management and benefit from internal management.The paper takes the research of NG Company,discovers the existing problem of rude project management by the way of field investigation and questionnaire survey and analyses the deep reasons in the problem oriented.In this paper,takes PMBOK(Project Management Body of Knowledge)as the theoretical framework,increase scope management to lay the foundation for project management by the way of collecting the needs of project stakeholder,defining the project scope and creating work breakdown structure.Control the project schedule by the way of writing project schedule and using transverse track chart comparison method.Control the project quality by the way of developing quality education and training,establishing post responsibility system,quality management system and technical safeguard measures.Using net value method,control project cost through resources planning,cost estimation and budget.Solve the human resources problem by post management,training management and performance management.Solve the problem of project procurement by standardizing the purchasing process,writing purchasing plan,strengthening contract implementation and management and site materials management.So as to improve the level of project management,form own core competitive power and better adapt to the market changes for the purpose of long-term sustainable development.The power construction project management problems studied and discussed in the paper is also widespread in other same type of power construction enterprises.Therefore,the research on the project management optimization of NG company project management is also a reference for other similar power construction enterprises.
