Research On The Implementation Environment Of IPD Mode

The traditional construction process is divided into distinct separate stages.And the core objectives of the project is optimized by optimizing each piece lump sum contracting connected with centrally developed,but the artificial behavior does not guarantee the overall best benefits[1].Integrated Project Delivery Mode is the model of integrated project delivery,and avoids the engineering problems caused by segmented nature of the construction industry.However,the IPD Mode has been hampered by external restraint and inner resistance in the course of project practice,so that its value has not been achieved.Fabricated building and BIM information technology is the direction and goal of Construction Industry.And the effective implementation of the IPD Mode will facilitate the achievement of this strategic goal.The research is based on the theory of "Relational Contract Theory",and mainly aimed at the Implementation Environment of Construction Project Transaction Mode.The paper first analyzes the application and development of IPD Mode,and points out the obstacle factors in the implementation of IPD Mode.Then,author expounds the emergence and development of IPD Mode and Traditional Construction Project Transaction Mode,and Combines with the relationship between society and contract in "Relational Contract Theory",to analyze the differences and connections between of Implementation Environment between IPD Mode and Traditional Construction Project Transaction Mode,and point out the root cause of the implementation of the IPD Mode.Finally,through the use of the Contract Behavior Norms proposed by "Relational Contract Theory",designing an Implementation Scheme of IPD Mode.Based on the above research and the corresponding research process,the author draws the following main conclusions: IPD Contracts are more relational than Traditional Construction Contracts,and current Project Transaction Market is affected by the Traditional Construction Contracts,and its Relationship Strength does not meet the requirements of the IPD Contracts.This is why IPD Mode can't applicate successfully.And the smooth implementation of the IPD Mode relies on a more relational Project Transaction Market.According to Relational Contract Theory,the relational design of the contract can be realized by the application of Contract Behavior Norms,which can speed up the formation of Project Transaction Market IPD Mode depends on.
