Research On The Urban Industry Specialization And Diversification Of Economic Growth Impact

At present,C hina is in the period of strategic opportunity for economic and social development,and the long-term and stable economic growth should be based on perfect industrial structure which needs to be optimized.Therefore,this paper is based on the theory of urban industry specialization and diversification which influences economic growth,uses the relevant data about the employment level of 19 industries in 285 cities above prefecture level form 2004 to 2014,and adopts static panel data model,then analyzes the relationship between the level of specialization and diversification of cities in China and the level of regional economic development.Firstly,this paper introduces the domestic and international research status of urban industry specialization and diversification,the classification of urban industrial structure,the theory of economic growth and other related theories,then analyzes the internal mechanism of urban industrial structure affecting economic growth.Secondly,the method of introducing the Tyr index of urban first degree is introduced into the measured of the urban industry specialization and diversification index,the location quotient and Herfindahl-Hirschmann indices are combined to measure the urban industry specialization and diversification index,then analyzes the industrial structure level of C hina's cities objectively.This paper explores the differences in the industrial structure between cities in different regions in C hina,and learns that there are significant differences in the industrial structure of cities in C hina.In particular,some urban industries are single,and the ability to anti-risk is poor.Thirdly,the panel data model is used to analyze the relationship between the index of urban industry specialization and diversification and economic growth.The results show that China's urban industry specialization is conducive to economic growth,the impact of industry diversification on economic growth is not obvious.The relationship between urban industry specialization and diversification is not entirely antagonistic,but complementary.Finally,according to the existing problems of urban industrial structure in C hina,from different angles,this paper proposes related policy recommendations for the problems in the economic development of China's cities.
