In the organizational situation,leadership and subordinate interact regularly on work,and complete the work in cooperation.In the process of interaction,the leader and subordinate have the opportunity to intentionally and unintentionally cognition and affect each other,and transfer their innovation consciousness and innovation power.In which both exists negative transfer:weak innovation consciousness will pass each other between leaders and subordinates,and then weaken their innovative power;and exists positive transfer: positive innovation motivation can infect each other too,and then encourage innovation enthusiasm.Based on the phenomenon of innovation power passing each other,this study discusses the process of innovative motivation contagion between leader and subordinate.Based on social cognitive theory,this study used grounded theory methods,collected interview information from China's situation of enterprise and employee,refining category through the open coding,axial coding and selective coding by Nvivo 8.0.And finally we build the innovative motivation contagion model between leadership and subordinate.Then we connect with the interview data to analyze the process of leadership-subordinate's innovative motivation contagion and the clues and influence factors in this process.The main research contents and conclusions were as follows:(1)The leaders' innovation motivation through its clues on the surrounding environment information of unconscious cognitive processing or conscious cognitive processing to infect subordinates and motivate subordinates' innovation motivation.Reversely,subordinate innovation motive also can infect leaders' innovation motivation.This is a two-way innovative motivation contagion process,and finally forming the virtuous circle between leaders and subordinate's innovation motivation.(2)There are two path in the process of Leadership-subordinate innovative motivation contagion based on social cognitive: One is the unconscious goal contagion path,which emphasizes unconsciously and automatically reasoning and pursuit of target;Another is conscious decision contagion path,which emphasizes regulate consciously their psychological need and motivation tendencies.(3)The process of leadership-subordinate innovative motivation contagion involves the clues: leaders innovation motive clues information,staff innovation motive information,andorganizational innovation environment.These clues information is the social cognitive source of leadership and subordinate,which can also be regarded as factors influencing the infection innovation motivation process of employees,leadership and organization.(4)The individual innovation traits and work value orientation of leaders and subordinate,are the main power of social cognitive,which can play a regulatory role of innovative motivation contagion,which affect their social cognition;And these individual factors also can directly affect their own social cognition process.Finally,this study summarizes several suggestions of management practice from the research conclusion,and points out the shortage and the future research direction of the research.Hoping enterprises,leaders and staff can effectively use "leadership-subordinate innovative motivation two-way contagion model",reference the suggestions of management practice from the research conclusion to inspire the motivation of leaders' and the staff's innovation and build the innovative ecological environment of enterprise.
