In recent years,economic globalization and the trend of regional economic integration promote the rapid development of trade in education services,internationalization and industrialization of education service industry has become an inevitable trend.Early in 1993,the General Agreement on trade in services(GATS)has made explicit provision for trade in services: including not only finance,tourism,communications,transport and other projects,but also education services.Since 21 st century,with the increasingly close of exchanges and cooperation among the international community,international trade in education services has been developing rapidly.However,due to historical reasons,China has paid more attention to the development of trade in goods.As a big country of Education in the world,China has been lack of attention to the importance of trade in education services.As a province with strong economy power and the window opening up to the world,Guangdong should play an exemplary role,but its trade in education services does not match the development of trade in goods actually.With the strategy's promotion of "21st century Silk Road on the sea",a new development of educational service trade in Guangdong Province will appears.Trade in higher education services.This article is based in Guangdong Province,orients for the ASEAN countries,combined with relevant theoretical models,trying to analyze the influence factors of higher education service trade of Guangdong Province with ASEAN countries in a new perspective.At last some recommendations are put forward as the contribution for the development of trade in higher education services.By analyzing the current situation and problems of Guangdong's higher education service trade to ASEAN countries,and combining the empirical model,the following conclusions are drawn.Firstly,consumption abroad is still the main form of Guangdong higher education service trade exports to ASEAN.According to the experience of developed countries,the form of commercial existence may become the direction of future development.Cross border delivery and natural person flow developed more slowly because of many restrictions.Secondly,educational resources and economic level are two major factors that affect the trade in educational services.The high ratio of students to teachers and the gross enrollment rate will have a negative impact on the number of overseas students,while foreign trade dependence and per capita GDP play a positive role.Thirdly,the export potential of Guangdong's higher education service trade to ASEAN countries has not been fully excavated.We should formulate corresponding trade policies for different countries so as to improve the level of education service trade in Guangdong province.
