With the continuous development of the global economy,the competition between enterprises has become more and more fierce,enterprise how to deal with the complicated and changeable environment,and to make strategic adjustment and strategic choice of appropriate,has been an important issue to be concerned.The relationship between strategy and performance has always been a hot issue in the field of management research,most of the studies focused on whether there is a difference between the two and how the different strategies affect the performance.With the continuous development of the economic research perspective,scholars began to explore the impact of competitive strategy on the relationship between the performance of enterprises.So in this paper,the domestic and foreign scholars on the basis of the study,select the manufacturing industry as the research object to test the relationship between strategy and performance and how the environment plays a regulatory role between the two,this is the enterprise to gain competitive advantage and improve the competitiveness in manufacturing operations and choose the correct strategies to improve business performance to provide the theoretical basis.This paper mainly classifies Potter’s competitive strategy as the standard,in reading and analyzing a large number of domestic and foreign strategic and performance aspects of the literature,related to strategic theories such as the theory of competitive strategy,resource allocation theory,contingency theory and performance evaluation theory in detail,to study the relationship between competitive strategy and enterprise performance,and the regulate the environment to join,make corresponding assumptions and research model is constructed to verify the dynamic environment and competitive environment respectively regulate how the relationship between strategy and performance.Based on the collected data and the measure for structural validity analysis using SPSS20.0 and Eviews software,correlation and regression analysis,to test the hypothesis,and analyzes the results of hypothesis test.In this paper,the corresponding theoretical analysis and Empirical Study of the data,and draw the following conclusions:(1)the different competitive strategy of manufacturing enterprises will bring different influence on performance.(2)through the empirical research on the relationship between competitive strategy and firm performance,it is verified that the differentiation strategy and the low cost strategy have an impact on the performance of the firm.(3)the environment with unstable characteristics has a significant moderating effecton the relationship between the low cost strategy and the enterprise performance,and has a significant moderating effect on the differentiation strategy and enterprise performance.
