In the recent years, the rapid development of economy and society has resulted in resource and environmental problems. Thus, countries all over the world began to seek the synergetic development of the ecological and the economic systems.“Made in China 2025” proposed that the government should actively establish a green manufacturing system and promote the practice of green production and consumption around the whole society.Remanufacturing,as a typical form of green manufacturing,is becoming increasingly important. However,Chinese consumers currently have low purchase intention for remanufactured products, which to some extent restricts development of the remanufacturing industry. Therefore,it is very important to study factors that affect consumers' purchase intention for remanufactured products.Research results can benefit for providing more targeted suggestions for enterprises, media and the government to promote remanufactured products. On the basis of existing research, this thesis introduces perceived consumer effectiveness, product information of remanufactured products, external environmental incentives and demographic variables to develop the theoretical model of the theory of planned behavior. This thesis constructs a conceptual model to analyze the influence of internal and external factors on consumers' purchase intention for remanufactured products and analyze the differences of the purchase intention because of the changes of demographic variables. In the process of a questionnaire survey, this thesis selects remanufactured printing-supplies as a specific remanufactured product. On the basis of receiving 373 valid questionnaires, this thesis does an empirical study, including exploratory factor analysis, hierarchical regression analysis,one-way ANOVA and so on.According to the empirical analysis results, this thesis tests the theoretical assumptions and modifies the concept model. The results show that consumers' purchase intention for remanufactured products is influenced by attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control and perceived consumer effectiveness, and it also is influenced by product information of remanufactured products and external environmental incentives. There are different degrees of mediation effects between external factors and consumers' purchase intention. In addition, consumers' purchase intention for remanufactured products does not vary depending on gender, age, and monthly disposable income, but varies due to the differences of educational level. The consumers highly educated are more likely to purchase remanufactured products. Therefore, improving consumers' purchase intention should rely on joint efforts by consumers, enterprises, media and the government.
