In recent years,with the increasing of our company,the CEO system has much in common with our traditional management system,thus many company are in favor of it.However,from the perspective of the original intention and the purpose of our enterprise reform,CEO system may not conform to the requirements of the improvement of our scientific management.Based on the full reference to the relevant research results at home and abroad,whether the CEO system is suitable for China or not demonstrates from both theoretical and empirical perspectives.The beginning introduces the research background and significance of the article,also determines the scope of the CEO system that the article studies.Then generalizes the theory of western corporate governance.These theories are the theoretical basis of western corporate governance pattern.Then from the corporate governance structure,cultural awareness and legal environment three point of view,we analyze the environment in which the CEO system was born both from home and abroad.Theoretically proves that there is a big difference between our CEO system with the United States.The empirical research follows,according to Finkelstein power model,correlation analysis the performance indicators and the volatility of performance indicators that affect the power of CEO.Which reaches the conclusion: it is not obvious that the CEO power impact the two indicators.Thus illustrates that the CEO system has little practical meaning.Finally,after summarizing the final results,the conclusion is that the CEO System in China should be carefully implemented.
