In recent years,with the increase of economic slowing down and the business efficiency in decline,the hotel industry as a capital-intensive and labor-intensive industry is facing a grim situation.The real estate industry has moved into the hotel industry based on sharing economy,resulting in the excess supply of the hotel industry has been multiplied,and industry competition is more intense,so profit margins are further compressed.With the disappearance of the demographic dividend and the impact of national policies,the labor costs rose sharply.While the wage level of hotel industry is low,it’s difficult to attract talented employees,which makes the contradiction between supply and demand intensified and the shortage of talented employees.In the internet age,individual value becomes increasingly prominent,making the original management method more and more difficult to adapt.However,the hotel industry has been influenced deeply by the scientific management and division of labor theory,it’s very difficult for employees to play their own subjective initiative and creativity.In this context,if the hotel industry wants to get rid of business difficulties,staff management changes is imperative.Firstly,the article summarizes the evolution trend of management theory and the research literature on staff management and platformization,laying the theoretical basis for this paper,and puts forward that the hotel staff management should change to the direction of the platformization.Then the research conducts in-depth interviews with hotel senior managers,and analyzes the research data with the grounded theory.The paper puts forward the direction of employee management change from the perspective of management concept,enterprise culture,organizational structure,management method and performance evaluation and incentive,to motivate employees to operate independently and make management platform.Hotel managers need to break the mindset,rethink the connotation of management,and guide enterprises change from the system management to cultural management.Besides,hotel should try to take management unit with business as the core,to improve the participation of employees in the management work,and adjust employee performance and reward dynamically,according to changes in the operating conditions.All in all,hotel managers must enhance the employees’ business sense as much as possible and encourage employees to play their initiative,enthusiasm and creativity.
