With the trend of economic globalization becoming fiercer,China's economic market is becoming more active,and mergers and acquisitions has become one of the most efficient and effective ways to expand capital and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.M&A in China began at the end of the last century,M&A cases have increased year by year.In recent years,our country also raised a hot waves of mergers and acquisitions,the amount involved is also rising.Due to the advent of the era of big data,printing machine enterprises are facing enormous challenges,mergers and acquisitions have become the most effective way to solve the current plight of the printing machine industry.Thus,how to produce synergy effect of M&A and does acquisitions improve company performance effectively,become one of research focuses in the current financial theory.Based on the Evergreen Group acquireing case,researching financial impact brought by this acquisition,to do good to solve the above problems.By using the methods of event study,principal component analysis(PCA)and so on,with Evergreen Group acquireing case as the research object,the article analyzes synergistic effect,impact on business performance and market reaction of this event.This paper is divided into five parts: the first part introduces the purpose and meaning of research content.The second part is the basic theory of M&A and literature review,it describes the related basic theory of M&A and the research status both domestic and overseas.The third part is case introduction and SWOT analysis,this part introduces the process of this cases and analyses the necessity of this acquisition and conditions by SWOT Analysis.The fourth part is core part of this thesis,it uses DuPont Analysis,PCA and research methods such as EVA model to analyses synergistic effect of this event and the effect on the performance of the company.Then analyses market reaction by applying the method of Event Study.The fifth part is study conclusions and recommendations.Through the above research,this thesis makes following conclusions:(1)good synergistic effect brought in this case;(2)there is significant positive influence on mergers and acquisitions to improve business performance;(3)the M&A has obtained the good market response,capital market investors hold positive attitude for this M&A.
