Under big boom of fresh food electronic commerce in China, the majority of enterprises have entered perishable products industry. With continuous upgrading of consumer demand, freshness and timeliness are important factors affecting customer satisfaction. However, perishable products will be decayed in delivery process.Meanwhile, high frequency and small lot-size terminal orders make it difficult for efficient scheduling. In addition, the traveling speed can change over time in terminal transportation network,so it's challenging for time-dependent terminal delivery.Focusing on perishable products, this paper studies how to make an effective terminal delivery scheduling. Two aspects are mainly discussed as follows.(1)Optimizing terminal delivery of perishable products considering customer satisfaction.Firstly, customer satisfaction is quantified by freshness and timeliness. On this basis, the customer service priority evaluation function is defined which reflects the importance of customer satisfaction in perishable products terminal delivery. Then,a multi-objective optimization model is formulated and priority-based genetic algorithm is designed to solve the proposed model. Finally, numerical experiments and sensitivity analysis are presented to show validity and applicability of the developed model and algorithm.(2)Optimizing terminal delivery of perishable products based on time-dependent vehicle routing problem.Focused on time-dependent,this paper studies how to make an adjustment optimization plan for initial scheduling.Firstly, the traveling speed is defined by historical and real-time traffic information.Secondly, the prospect theory is combined and initial scheduling is served as a reference point. The value function is used to formulate gain or loss of customer satisfaction and the total logistics costs.Thirdly,time-dependent vehicle routing problem model of perishable products are constructed and two-stage algorithm is proposed to solve the model. Finally, numerical experiments verify effectiveness of the method. In summary, the proposed models and algorithms have validity and applicability to deal with terminal delivery problem for perishable products. This study can provide decision support to improve freshness and timeliness for logistics service providers.
