In more than 170 years,farmers' cooperatives gradually spread from Europe to countries around the world since the world's first farmers' cooperative—the Rochdale Equitable Pioneers Society established in 1844.The development process of China's farmers' cooperatives can be traced back to the late 1920 s.The farmers' cooperatives had experienced keep going by painstaking effort in the period of the Republic of China,blinding expansion in the early days of new China,trailing in 1960 s and 1970 s,resuscitating in 1980 s and 1990 s,farmers' cooperatives have made great progress in the new century,especially the Law on Farmer Professional Cooperatives of P.R.C came into force in 2007.The construction of farmers' cooperatives not only solves the contradiction between "small farmers and big market",but also derives the social function and ecological function.Seeking economic efficiency enhance their income level is the ultimate goal of cooperatives from the essence,but for its social function and ecological function should also be sufficient attention.In order to better protect the sustainable development of cooperatives,we should coordinate the relationship between economy,society and ecology.Farmers' cooperative is a new economic organization,especially for domestic cooperatives,relevant laws and policies are not perfect due to the short development time,and the theoretical basis is not thorough,unique land contract mechanism,making the current development of cooperatives are faced with many problems,how to realize the cooperative play economic benefits,social and ecological functions are important to the rural economic development,social stability and ecological sustainability.In order to study the problem of sustainable development of farmers' cooperatives in Karst region of Guizhou.This paper is based on reviewing the related literature at home and abroad,taking Nayong County of Guizhou Province Jiu Lifeng ramie cooperative as the research object,using the method of field investigation,interviews and other relevant information and data acquisition of cooperatives.Through research,this paper analyses the development process of cooperative in Karst area the existence of contradictions;abandoning the traditional purely from the economic point of consideration the cooperative performance of the way of study,the economic,social and ecological way of comprehensive evaluation of cooperative construction;highlighting the importance of cooperation for economic and social sustainable development,ecological aspects.The study shows that;First,reasonable organization and execution,economic and social benefits in the construction of farmers' cooperatives,both adhere to the concept of sustainable development,capable of prestige and other factors have condensed significance for the sustainable development of cooperatives.Secondly,this paper analyzes the development of farmer cooperatives in the Karst area advantage from natural resources,human resources and technology policy in three aspects,putting forward to the region sustainable development of cooperatives: strengthen the resources transformation ability,improving the cooperative service mechanism,cooperative extension of industrial chain,focusing on brand image,by the national policy,and actively introduce wind technology talent,outstanding product characteristics,enhance their ability to upgrade the construction of four recommendations.This is the last of the research summary,the sustainable development of cooperatives in Karst region of Guizhou should pay attention to four issues:(a)the scale of production to adapt to local conditions,(b)paying attention to the supply of public goods cooperative ability construction,(c)maintain cultural heritage and economic development(d)running parallel,coordinated development of ecological protection and cooperative construction.
