Study On Mongolia's Cashmere Industrial Cluster Development

From the industrial economies perspective,this paper used the theory and method of industry cluster to analysis the main factors of the performance of cashmere industry cluster in Mongolia.Mongolia is one of the big countries of the world's cashmere that vast in territory,rich in resources,economy development has the big potential.If transforms resources as the economical superiority of this sector,it is can lead the development of the entire national economy.Cashmere products is one of the main export products in Mongolia.Moreover,it is the source of main income of the total population of 1/3 and 45% of Mongolian herders.Cashmere and wool processing industry can provide 16% employee of whole country.But,the cashmere industry in Mongolia is still at the low end of the value chain,mainly to export raw cashmere and the cashmere industrial competitiveness is not strong in international market.From the perspective of the economic development of the developing countries,it is an important way to improve the industrial competitiveness through the formation of industrial clusters.Therefore,this paper focuses on how to promote the formation of Mongolia's cashmere industrial cluster.The research of this paper has important theoretical value and practical significance to enhance the competitiveness of Mongolia cashmere industry.Firstly,sort out the present situation and development of Mongolia country cashmere and wool industry.Secondly,empirical measure of UlanBator cashmere industry cluster development level using location quotient,and according to the survey questionnaire data analysis of the development status of UlanBator cashmere industry cluster in Mongolia.Third,based on the analysis of the competitiveness of Mongolia's cashmere industry based on the industrial competitiveness diamond model,the paper puts forward the development strategy of Mongolia cashmere industry cluster.
