Analysis On The Foreign Aid And Economic Effect Of Emerging Countries

In today's international political economy,most countries as the identity of the donor or the recipient appearing on the stage of foreign aid are closely linked with foreign aid.Foreign aid has played an important role in economic development and policy-making process within a country,and gradually gains attention of the world.With the continuous development of foreign aid,there are lots of emerging states appearing in the field of foreign aid and playing an increasingly important role in international aid and also making the international aid system more colorful.And China is one of the emerging donors.Although the continuous development of emerging donors has brought great attentions of the world,the study on foreign aid of the emerging donors is just not enough and systematic.Therefore,this paper firstly analyzes the current situation of emerging donor countries,which mainly from foreign aid motivation,scale,mode,and ways of assignment.In order to better analyze China,an emerging donor,this paper chooses BRIC as comparative study and analyses details of foreign aid cases of the four countries.Through the process of analyzing and comparing,the experiences can be incorporated and adapted by China for its future development assistance.In addition,most of the emerging donor countries are still developing countries,whose own economic development is still an important task.Through study and analysis can find out that economic motives playing more important role in providing foreign aid among these emerging donors.Emerging donors providing foreign aid is subject to help the recipient countries as well as make good for their own development of trade and investment.Therefore,this paper analyzes the study of how foreign aid influences the economic effects of trade and investment.The empirical analysis was carried out based on the dates that can be obtained in emerging donors,and the results of the empirical analysis are supportive of foreign aid has a positive promoting effect on donors' trade and has a non-positive promoting effect on the Foreign Direct Investments.Finally,based on the analysis of emerging donors,this paper summarizes the existing problems in foreign aid,and the prospects for its future development.After settled to China,China's foreign aid in question proposes several policy recommendations.In addition,this paper also makes a prospect of the future research and development of the foreign aid to the emerging countries.
