The employee work passion is defined as a strong inclination toward an activity that people like,that they find important and meaningful,and in which they invest time and energy,which are closely related to organizational sustainability,innovation and organizational performance.The key factors that affect employee work passion need to be studied in depth,the infulence of leader behavior on employee work passion has becoming a hot topic to scholars.This study puts forward the concept of perceived leader selection from the perspective of conclusion and development of leader and subordinate relationship,which is defined as a process that employees perceived leaders are based on intrinsic value criterion and adopt different behavior manifestations.The maintenance of employee work passion is not only related to leader behavior,but also to their characteristics.Individual energy is defined as the perceived physical strength,positive emotional state and cognitive vitality level of employees interacting with people,which have significant effect on employee creativity and organizational performance,and are considered to be the organization's renewable resources and the key to form the competitive advantage of organization development.Therefore,this study explores the influence mechanism of individual energy on the relationship between perceived Perceived leader selection and employee work passion,in order to provide theoretical and practical value for organizational managers to awake and maintain employees' work passion.This study constructs a model that the influence of individual energy on the relationship between Perceived leader selection and employee work passion based on the literature analysis,and collects 665 valid questionnaires.Firstly,we use item analysis,exploratory factor analysis,reliability analysis to text the reliability and validity of scale,and use confirmatory factor analysis to verify the conceptual structure of perceived leader selection,individual energy and employee work passion.Secondly,the single factor analysis of variance was used to study the differences in the demographic variables of perceived leader selection,individual energy and employee work passion.Finally,this paper analyzes the influence of the relationship between perceived leader selection and employee work passion and the effect of individual energy.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Perceived leader selection is composed of the leader psychology selection and leader behavior selection.Leader psychology selection is composed of three dimensions: ability selection,personality selection and attitude selection.Leader behavior selection is composed of three dimensions: reward and punishment behavior selection,development behavior selection and task behavior selection.Reward and punishment behavior selection has explained the maximum variance,followed by the development behavior selection.The individual energy is composed of three dimensions: physiological energy,emotional energy and cognitive energy,and the variance of physiological energy is the largest,the second is the emotional energy,and the cognitive energy is the minimum.Employee work passion consists of two dimensions: the harmonious work passion and the obsessive work passion.(2)The overall average of leader psychological selection is higher than leader behavior selection.Personality selection is the highest score,attitude selection slightly lower than personality selection,the ability selection is the lowest score.Task behavior selection is the highest score,reward and punishment behavior selection is the lowest score.The individual energy of the overall average means which is in the medium level;emotional energy is the highest score;physical energy is the lowest score.The score of employee's harmonious work passion is slightly higher than obsessive work passion.(3)There are significant differences in Perceived leader selection of gender,age,marital status,education level,job level,working years,monthly income level,organizational nature and organizational scale.There are no significant differences in individual energy of the gender,age,marital status,current unit working years and monthly income level and organizational nature.There are significant differences in individual energy of the level of education,job level and organizational scale.Employee work passion and its dimensions have no significant differences in gender,age,marital status and work experience,employee work passion and its dimensions have significant differences in the level of education,job level and income level.(4)Perceived leader selection and its dimensions have significantly prediction on employee work passion.Leader psychological selection and attitude selection,ability selection are significant predictors of the harmonious work passion and obsessive work passion.Leader behavior selection has significant prediction on the harmonious work passion,the behavior selection is the largest prediction.Leader behavior selection and its dimensions have significant prediction on the obsessive work passion,reward behavior selection is the the largest prediction.Individual energy predicts employee work passion significantly.The individual energy and its dimensions predicts the harmonious work passion significantly,physical energy has the largest prediction,followed by cognitive energy,finally is the emotional energy.The individual energy and its dimensions predict the obsessive work passion significantly,cognitive energy has the largest prediction,followed by physical energy.Individual energy has a significant moderating effect on the perceived leader selection and employee work passion.The individual energy and its dimensions have no significant moderating effect on the relationship between leader psychological selection and employee work passion.The individual energy and its dimensions have significant moderating effect on the relationship between leader behavior selection and employee work passion.In the end,based on the research conclusions,we put forward the strategy with PBE as the core from leader and employee aspect for promoting employee work passion.
