The Research On The Counter Operational Risk Of Commercial Bank

Operational risks derive from bank's daily work,including every aspects of business management activities.It not only makes a huge damage,but also leads to a series of reputation risks, bank run risks and some other problems, which bring huge damage for banks. Some major cases of operational risk happen frequently, which brought huge damage for referring banks and staffs. In order to prevent and reduce the risk, it is necessary to strengthen the risk management and adds the initiative,foresight and sensitivity of preventing risk. Only in this way, bank can get a stable development.This paper based on the analysis of referable documents of management risk in abroad and domestic, through analyzing the practical condition, factor and character,concentrating on the common risk problems in counter service at commercial bank.Combining with typical cases, this research brought up some ideas for these problems.Through research, this paper abounded the referable theories of operational risk in counter service, and also brought up some ideas to help commercial banks advance their operational risk management system and their risking management level.In addition, this paper had some innovations in research. First, this paper focused on the counter operational risking management in commercial bank's operational risking management, concentrating on how to prevent this kind of risk, which narrowed the area of researching. It let me get a result which rooted in practical.Second,through typical cases,this paper had a comprehensive analysis,bringing some ideas specifically. These ideas were specifically and practically for problems. Thirdly,I worked at bank counter as a front-line staff for a long time, having my own realizations for operational risks.
