The financial crisis has a profound impact on the development of the world economy,and the external environment,customer demand,constraints and other factors of commercial banks also change.China's commercial banks are mainly based on traditional deposit and loan business.The monopoly position of commercial banks causes the mismatch of capital price,which leads to the interest rate cannot give full play to the role of regulating the economy.Therefore,it is urgent for China to reform the interest rate market.The impact of interest rate marketization reform on China's commercial banks has two sides.On the one hand,the interest rate market prompted commercial banks to improve service quality and management efficiency,accelerate the transformation of mode of innovation and management of financial products;on the other hand,the interest rate market prompted commercial banks to release the pressure of competition through innovative products,alleviate the impact decline in net profit and interest rate risk increase.Interest rate liberalization leads to the narrowing of deposit lending spread,which poses certain operational risks to commercial banks.Therefore,China's commercial banks actively adjust the structure,change the business model,to the development of intermediary business transformation.Through the development of intermediary business,commercial banks can avoid the impact of interest rate liberalization.In this paper,the theory and empirical methods are combined to summarize the significance of the development of intermediary business in China's commercial banks.On this basis,the theoretical basis of the development of intermediary business is drawn out,and the practical significance of the development of intermediary business in China's commercial banks is pointed out.This paper focuses on the development of intermediate business of commercial banks.The empirical risk management part uses the Z-score model to analyze 10 commercial banks' operating income in period 2011-2016.The empirical part uses factor analysis model to analyze 10 commercial banks in 2016,trying to indicate the difference of state-owned commercial banks and joint-stock commercial banks,the main factors restricting the development of the intermediary business in China,reflecting the development of intermediate business of commercial banks to promote the transformation and upgrading of great significance,necessity and reality that China's development of the intermediate business.First of all,this research of scholars at home and abroad are summarized,the necessity that China develops intermediate business;secondly,this paper studies China's market-oriented interest rate reform process of the intermediate business of commercial banks at home and abroad,and pointes out the reality that China develops the intermediate business.In the fierce competition,commercial banks need to develop differentiated product pricing strategy and provide differentiated services.Commercial banks must adhere to both business development and innovation development,which can effectively reduce operational risks and increase operating income.To sum up,the reform of interest rate marketization has made the competition of Chinese commercial banks increasingly fierce.Commercial banks can maintain the leading position in the fierce competition only by making clear market positioning,clear business and development strategies,and accurately selecting customers.On the basis of theoretical analysis and empirical research,this paper studies the influence of the development of intermediary business on the operational risk and operating income of commercial banks in China.Commercial banks need to establish the correct concept of intermediate business development,adopt differentiated product pricing strategy and modular product development strategy,which can effectively reduce operational risks and increase operating income.Accordingly,the paper puts forward policy recommendations for the development of intermediary business of commercial banks in China.Specific recommendations include:improve pricing capabilities,strengthen business management,clear customer positioning,increase scientific and technological support,and use differentiated competitive strategy.
