The global energy revolution has started,and the development and utilization of new energy has become an important way for countries to cope with energy shortage and improve the environment and climate.Solar energy,as a clean energy source,has become the focus of all countries,and solar power generation plays an important role in promoting the cleaning and diversification of China's power supply and the transformation of energy structure.Studying the current situation and changing trend of solar power efficiency in China,understanding the temporal and spatial pattern of efficiency distribution,and putting forward suggestions for future development of solar energy in China,is conducive to the rational development of solar energy resources,optimize the layout of solar power generation,improve the efficiency of power generation,and avoid the waste of construction resources.It can provide reference for policy makers in the future strategic selection and formulation,and has practical significance for improving China's solar power generation efficiency.This article begins with a literature review of solar power related fields,and then analyzes the current status and characteristics of solar power generation in China through solar energy resources,power generation structure,installed capacity,power generation capacity and established policies.Then this article evaluates China's solar power generation efficiency from three dimensions: vertical,horizontal and global perspective.Using BCC-input and output orientation models,CCR-input and output orientation models,Bootstrap-DEA method,K-means method and Global-Malmquist model to measure and analyze the efficiency.This article has systemically collected data on solar power generation in order to measure and analyze China's solar power generation efficiency from multiple angles and levels.By the end of 2016,China's solar power generation capacity and power generation ranked first in the world,but solar energy in China still contributed as a supplementary energy source.Affected by international political and economic issues and domestic policies,China's solar power generation efficiency fluctuates greatly,with the lowest values appearing in 2011 and 2013.China should achieve intensive production and management through technological progress under the existing scale of solar power generation.Technological progress should be used as the main means to increase efficiency.The level of China's provincial solar power average efficiency is low(0.42)form 2011 to 2015.Three areas of solar power generation efficiency are basically consistent with the layout of solar energy resources.The trend of changes in the efficiency values of the three areas is generally similar.For solar power generation layout and management,this article suggests that China still focuses on the development of Xinjiang,Qinghai,Gansu and Inner Mongolia,and insists on the development of Ningxia,Shanxi and Shaanxi,and pays more attention to the rapidly developing central and eastern regions represented by Shandong and Jiangsu.The major photovoltaic power generation countries are all in the process of improving production efficiency.China must formulate solar energy development strategies and policies that suit the national conditions and support the development of the photovoltaic industry with correct and reasonable national policies.At the same time,China should unswervingly implement the innovation-driven strategy,focus on technological progress,and increase technological efficiency.
