Study On The Technology Service Mode Of Farmer Specialized Cooperatives In Nanxiong

In recent years,the Farmer Cooperation Organization(FCO)has been on a track of rapid development,increasing greatly in number and expanding into more areas.Centered on the FCO,the Scientific and Technical Service System(STSS)has become an important provider of services of the diversified agricultural science and technology.The STSS has an increasingly important role in technological invocation,achievements transformation,and demonstration and diffusion of agricultural technologies.As a non-governmental organization,the FCO roots in rural areas,has a natural bond with farmers,and is their most intimate new-type business entity.The FCO is also an irreplaceable force in the service of agricultural science and technology.Based on its membership,the FCO accumulates demands and funds,introduces technology to transform and spread,and gives feedback of the promotion of the technology to its provider.The FCO has established a favorable communication platform among farmers,promotional agencies and scientific institutions,having effectively pushing forward the application and transformation of scientific achievements.How to develop the FCO and innovate the service pattern of agricultural science has become an important research topic today.This paper focuses on the Farmer Cooperation Organization and the service pattern of agricultural science.It starts with a brief introduction of domestic and international researches on the service pattern of FCOs through the collection and collation of material and data.Then it explores the relevant concepts and theories from four perspectives-farmer cooperation organizations,agricultural service modes,public goods,and agricultural science service theories-and has proposed and analyzed four service modes for FCOs.After that,from the reality of Nanxiong,the paper analyzes Nanxiong’s current situation,content and modes of its FCO’s services,and summarizes the issues of the current service pattern and the reasons behind.Finally,after studying from the experiences of Japan’s and Denmark’s typical patterns,the paper puts forward a countermeasure to develop the FCO’s service pattern of Nanxiong.
