Research On Financial Performance Of Listed Companies In Dalian

The development rate of Dalian in recent years has slowed down significantly,which is regarded as the core of Liaoning’s economy.Listed companies have significant advantages in financing,talent,technology and innovation of management with the help of capital market platform.At the same time,listed companies also play a very important role in the development of regional economy.The data have shown that there are cities which have lots of high competitiveness listed companies are also ones with the rapid development of economy in China.However,Dalian,as the leading economic city in Liaoning,its listed companies can not be compared with the developed areas in terms of quantity and scale.Thus it’s feasible that to discuss problems of Dalian’s development by studying listed companies of Dalian.It is necessary to study the financial performance of a company to quickly and effectively get a large amount of information and make a more objective evaluation.Thus a in-depth and comprehensive study of the financial performance of listed companies in Dalian is of a great importance and significance,due to the researches of the financial performance of listed companies in Dalian were not in-depth or comprehensive enough.This paper introduces the development process of financial performance evaluation in domestic and foreign enterprises,and summarizes the classical theories of financial performance evaluation,and makes summary and comments on what has mentioned above.This paper uses factor analysis as a method to evaluate the financial performance of listed companies in Dalian,and gives an example to illustrate the empirical results of financial performance evaluation based on factor analysis,which is based on the existing methods and the characteristics of listed companies in the study area.This paper elaborates the related theories of financial performance evaluation and of factor analysis,which is used as the theoretical basis for the empirical study of financial performance evaluation of listed companies in Dalian.The research objects of this paper are the 26 listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchange.After reviewing the development of listed companies in Dalian and combining the characters of those companies,this paper chooses the financial indicators to evaluate the performance,and establishes the financial performance evaluation index system.Focus on their financial data during 2008 to 2016,and use factor analysis for financial performance evaluation,then,speculate on the existing problems and make reasonable recommendations according to the annual score and ranking analysis.
