Research On The Effect Of Venture Philanthropy On Social Enterprise Performance

As an important force in promoting social innovation and social governance,venture philanthropy and social enterprise have become important parts of public welfare undertaking development.which are developing rapidly in recently years.It is of great significance to promote the development of venture philanthropy and social enterprises for building a harmonious society and maintaining the steady economic development.Since the social enterprise start late in China,the theory research is relatively sluggish than the practice development.In academic,research on venture philanthropy and social enterprises is mainly qualitative analysis and less quantitative analysis.Especially,in the field of practice,the relationship between venture philanthropy and social enterprises is becoming increasingly close,and the venture philanthropy has injected fresh blood into the development of social enterprises,which has become a consensus.But many research were less focusing on how to influence the development of social enterprises.It is of great significance to study the impact of venture philanthropy on social enterprise performance.By searching and combing relevant literatures,this study draws on the venture philanthropy and performance appraisal system of commercial enterprises.Combining with the present situation of venture philanthropy in China and social enterprise development,the paper presents the hypothesis of the relationship between the venture philanthropy,resource acquisition and social enterprise performance,and draws on the evaluation index of the existing research to complete the questionnaire design.Resource acquisition mainly from the two levels of human resources and financial resources,social enterprise performance measures from sustainable development,economic benefits and social benefits.Secondly,exploring the direct impact of venture philanthropy on the performance of social enterprises,and in-depth analysis of the internal impact mechanism from the intermediary perspective of resource acquisition.In this paper,through the questionnaire survey,network screening to obtain our first-hand data,through empirical analysis to explore the impact of venture philanthropy on social enterprise performance.Through reliability and validity testing,the factor analysis and regression analysis show that the venture philanthropy has a remarkable promotion effect on the social enterprise performance,and resource acquisition has an intermediary effect on the social enterprise performance,the influence of human resource and financial resources on the social enterprise performance is different.Finally,through the empirical analysis of the results of the conclusions,this paper from the social enterprises to obtain public interest in the venture philanthropy and social enterprise managers put forward the relevant management recommendations.They hope to be able to select social enterprise projects,and social enterprises to obtain public interest in venture capital and later management to provide reference for the promotion of the venture philanthropy and social enterprise development,strengthen the sustainable development of social enterprises and the ability to solve social problems.
