Case Research Of The Multi-project Investment Financial Forecasting

With the development of market economy in China,a part of the enterprises expanded constantly in some industries such as real estate,electricity production industry,etc.These enterprises have developed several independent projects in the same period and the same main business to seize market share,natural monopoly,and to achieve the purpose of rapid turnover of funds in the fierce market competition.The multi-projects,is a collection of multiple items as its name implies.It can be understood as the evaluation for investment of multi-projects.It uses the method of financial forecasting and finally get the predicted financial statements.And different from the forecasting of single project investment,the purpose of the multi-project investment forecasting is not to judge the feasibility of a project,but to estimate the financial situation of the whole company.Based on the compare between the multi-project investment forecasting and the single project investment forecasting,this paper mainly explores the method of the multi-project investment forecasting with the case of CX which is a large state-owned enterprise in electricity production industry.With the data from W series projects of CX,this study will predict the accounting subjects in the future 5 years for CX,and use the results to evaluate the company's future financial situation through the analysis of financial index and sensitivity analysis.As the innovation point of this article,this paper will also introduce the processes of the multi-project investment forecasting in EXCEL in order to make this method more intuitive and applied to users and explore some special problems,such as the mismatch of loan year and account year,the months of interest,the states of different projects on the same moment,etc.Finally,based on the method of multi-project investment forecasting,this paper analyzes the limitations of the method and looks forward to the future research.This study will help the state-owned capital to make the multi-project investment financial forecasting.Especially in the period of economic downturn,state-owned capital need to make the financial forecasting and adjustment when it bears public and social welfare projects.This study also contribute to the other enterprise operators who have a number projects to forecast the future financial status.This study has certain theoretical value and practical guiding significance.
