Research On Developing Strategy Of Sea-rail Intermodal Transport Of Tianjin Port

In recent years,China’s domestic economy and foreign trade have achieved rapid development,which corresponded with the rapid growth of container throughput of our ports.Tianjin port is the first port in north China in 2016,the annual throughput of 14.5 million TEU containers,in the domestic coastal ports sixth,large container throughput needs to establish and improve the efficient transportation network to support.In this context,as a safe and stable transportation capacity and low carbon economy,the railway should be paid attention to and gradually develop into a major mode of transportation in Tianjin port.However,the low proportion of Tianjin port sea rail transport,accounted for only about 2%of the Tianjin port container throughput,not only far lower than developed countries the proportion of the iron transport,less than the same level of domestic ports.On the background of one belt and one road,collaborative development strategy of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,and Tianjin free trade area,the development of Tianjin port transportation facing unprecedented good opportunity.But at the same time also faces competition from other port,such as customer service requirements of increasingly challenges,thus make the sea rail transport development strategy in order to better guide rail transport development become a problem urgently need to be solved in the Tianjin port.Based on the mentioned above,it is necessary to study the development strategy of Tianjin port rail-sea intermodal transportation.First of all,based on defining the concept of port container rail-sea intermodal transportation,we’ll have an overview of the process for container rail-sea intermodal transportation,then analyze and summarize the present situation and characteristics for container transportation in both domestic and abroad main ports.Secondly,the present development situation and existing problems of Tianjin port container transportation was analyzed,and the advantages and disadvantages and the opportunities and challenges of Tianjin port’s container transportation development was analyzed by using the SWOT analysis.Thirdly,the prediction model is summarized on the premise of choosing the most suitable for Tianjin port container throughput forecast model,based on the Logistic model to quantitatively forecasting volume for port container transportation,and qualitative projections for sea transportation in proportion,finally get the future forecast for Tianjin port container transportation.Finally,based on the above analysis,the design and implementation strategy of the Tianjin port container rail transport strategy was put forward.
