Research On Competitiveness Evaluationof Container Port Around Bohai Sea

With the development of economic globalization and regionalization,the leading function to the region economy of the port is very apparent.The port has become the important factors of region economy development,which leads to increasing competition among ports.Container port is closely related to the regional economic development.Because ofthe convenience of container transportation,the crossing hinterland of regional port group accounts for a large proportion,whichmakes the competition between container ports profitable.Each port has to confirm their competitors and strengthen their core advantages to formulate the targeted development strategy.So it is critical to guide each port to find their competitive advantages through reasonable and scientific competitiveness evaluation.In this paper,we regard the container ports of Qingdao,Tianjin and Dalian in Circum-Bohai-Sea Region as the research object.We analyze the influence factors of container ports competitiveness with the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods.From the aspects of natural conditions,infrastructure,operating environment,operating capacity and soft resources,we build the evaluation system of container ports competitiveness combining container ports' characteristics.Thenwe finish the selection of indicators and data collection by means of reference and professional container website,etc.Based on expert scoring method,use AHP-fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to analyze each indicators and each three ports' competitiveness was obtained.Finally,we analyze the results of assessment.Through strengthening the construction of port facilities,improving the distribution capacity,developing the policy of "free port",strengthening the information construction and implementing the "strengthening port by talents" policy,weoffer proposals to improve the competitiveness of container ports in Circum-Bohai-Sea Region.
