In this paper,H Bank is one of the national joint-stock commercial banks.The size of its assets can't be compared with the large banksbecause the joint-stock H Bank reformed later.There are many problems in H Bank,likeprofit model simplification,relatively extensive management,etc.Luckly,H Bank has the standing on the shoulders of the predecessors on the "late first" reference advantage.There aremore regional advantages,scale advantages in H Bank compared to the city commercial firms.And the most important thing is that H Bank putted lots into the technology and innovation in the modern financial industry.With the accelerating pace of economic globalization,Chinese financial market is going through dramatic changes:the financial market disintermediation,interest rate marketization,internet finance fast development,etc.Because of the changesthe banking industry is facing with an unprecedented transitional pressure.Theretail financial business for the daily consumption and SME business showsthe long-term stability.It makes the retail financial business has the ability to resist economic cyclical changes,so the retail financial business has become a new area of bank transition competition.Based on this background,H Bank how touse the advantages of it to join the retail financial business competition andseize the opportunity is the import research problem in this study.This paper summarizes the relevant theories of the research on the competitive strategy of the retail financial business and the research results of predecessors as the theoretical basis for the study of H banking retail financial business competition strategy.In this paper,PEST analysis,Porter and the value chain were used to analyze the impact of external environmental factors on the retail banking business of H Bank and the status of H banking retail financial business.The internal and external factors were evaluated by questionnaire,and we will use the SWOT analysis method to seek the response strategy and determine the choice of the competitive strategy by integrating the resources of the retail banking business of the H Bank to determine the advantages and disadvantages of the retail banking business.This paper finally defines the differentiation strategy as the first choice of the competitive strategy of retail banking business of H Bank,expounds the implementation of differentiated competition strategy from three aspects:brand differentiation,product differentiation and service differentiation,and gives the implementation of differentiated strategy Related strategies.AlthoughH Bankstarted in the retail financial sector late,with the lead of the"innovation",by the Internet financial and inventive differentiation strategy,it willplay an important role in the competition.
