As everyone knows,the construction project management in China has been known for wild type characteristic,so it brings the bottleneck of the development such as over cost budget,project schedule delay,construction quality standards unsatisfied and even the personnel safety problem.Although China's construction industry had been out of the country to the world,which had made remarkable achievements and the unprecedented development at home and abroad,it compared to the average profit rate of nearly 10% of the mature manufacturing industry,construction industry profit rate is less than 5%.People have to reconsider the lesson and learn,and make management innovation,optimize management.Lean construction theory,which derived from lean production theory,optimizes the serious waste of resources caused by the traditional management mode to a certain extent.In view of the special complexity of the construction project,lean construction theory is not a simple copy of lean thinking,but a system of guidance by transformation,when in the construction of the whole process of in-depth analysis.Lean thinking was borned form Japan and became a kind of practical management method,which can improve the efficiency and reduce the cost by deep analysis each step in the process.Combined with the theory of project management and its application in the field of construction engineering,lean manufacturing has evolved into a unique lean construction.The birth of lean construction is a sublimation of lean thinking.The research contents of this topic,lean construction is management innovation which based on the mature theory of lean thinking,and it is also a continuous and dynamic management.In the full life cycle of the construction project,dynamic control,continuous improvement,to achieve the project tasks in order to improve customer satisfaction.This thesis extends the research on lean thinking and theory,combined with the different mode of construction project management,and follow the five basic principles of lean thinking,through in-depth analysis expounded on the lean thinking and extends to the research results and current status of the construction industry at home and abroad,and also introduces the lean thinking and lean construction theory of knowledge,summary the project management theory and project management mode,and analyzes the status of project management in China,and points out the lean thinking in the project cost,schedule,quality and safety management application,finally,this thesis introduces the general situation of the engine plant construction project of B company and the existing problems.The analysis points out the necessity of the application of lean thinking,combined with the example of the project cost,schedule and quality management,further demonstrates the application of lean thinking.
