Trade of manufactured goods has been developing by leaps and bounds since China joined the World Trade Organization(WTO)in 2001,China became the first country in the export trade of manufactured goods for the first time in 2007,after that,the export volume of manufactured goods has remained the world's leading status.In 2015,the export volume of manufactured goods was up to $21695.41.With the constant expansion of export trade,the research of export technological complexity has become very popular among domestic and foreign scholars in recent years,by measuring this index,finds that the manufacturing export level of China has been greatly improved recently but still lag far behind other developed countries.In order to improve international competitiveness of the manufacturing industry and promote the global value chain standing of our country,domestic manufacturing enterprises gradually transfer to provide "professional services","manufacturing servititation" goes with this trend.The domestic and foreign scholars have done quite a lot of research on the interactive relationship between manufacturing industry and service industry,related research shows that servitivation could promote the development of manufacturing enterprises through improving productivity,inspiring technological innovation and other way.To explore the impact of services input on manufacturing exports technology complexity of manufacturing industry,from the perspective of onshore servitization and offshore servitization,taking the industry heterogeneity into consideration,and on the basis of the measurement of onshore service input level,offshore service input and export technological complexity during 2006-2015,meanwhile,choosing the level of human capital,domestic R&D investment and foreign direct investment as control variables,this paper utilizes panel data model to investigate impact of onshore servitization and offshore servitization on the export technological complexity of overall manufacturing industry and15 manufacturing industry sectors with different production factors.The final results indicate that:(1)From the view of overall manufacturing industry,offshore service input has a significant positive effect on export technological complexity,onshore service input has a insignificant negative effect on export technological complexity,service input has a insignificant positive effect on export technological complexity,domestic R&D investment and foreign direct investment are the significant positive influence factor of exporttechnological complexity,and the human capital insignificantly inhibits the promotion of export technological complexity.(2)From the angle of industry division,offshore service input could significantly promote export technological complexity of capital intensive manufacturing industry and technology intensive manufacturing industry,and it has a insignificant positive effect on export technological complexity of labor intensive manufacturing industry;onshore service input insignificantly inhibit export technological complexity of technology intensive manufacturing industry,insignificantly inhibit export technological complexity of labor intensive manufacturing industry and capital intensive manufacturing industry;service input insignificantly promote the export technological complexity of labor intensive manufacturing industry,and it insignificantly inhibit export technological complexity of capital intensive manufacturing industry and technology intensive manufacturing industry;domestic R&D investment has a significant positive effect on export technological complexity of labor intensive manufacturing industry,and positively influences insignificantly of capital intensive manufacturing industry,but negatively influences insignificantly of technology intensive manufacturing industry;foreign direct investment significantly promote export technological complexity of labor intensive manufacturing industry and technology intensive manufacturing industry,and it insignificantly promote export technological complexity of capital intensive manufacturing industry;human capital significantly inhibits export technological complexity of capital intensive manufacturing industry and technology intensive manufacturing industry,and insignificantly inhibits export technological complexity of labor intensive manufacturing industry.
