The accumulation of economic resources in specific geographical space is an objective fact that has existed in the process of human economic and social development.Since the reform and opening up,economic resources continue to flow to the eastern coastal areas, leading to the eastern coastal areas of economic agglomeration is much higher than other regions.According to the relevant data of China Statistical Yearbook 2016,it can be seen that China's manufacturing industry is highly concentrated in coastal provinces. The output value of manufacturing industry in 9 coastal provinces in 2015 accounts for 69% of the total.China has formed the center-periphery(coastal-inland)space development pattern The As one of the important factors that affect the economic agglomeration, the transportation infrastructure plays a special role in the process of spatial accumulation of economic resources.Over the past two decades,China's large-scale transport infrastructure has significantly improved the connectivity between the various regions of the country. This article will explore in depth the domestic transport infrastructure in promoting economic agglomeration whether there is a significant impact, how to influence and through what way the impact of such issues.Firstly, the linear free capital model, which is characterized by quasi-linear quadratic utility function and linear transportation cost under the OTT framework,is used as the basic model of empirical analysis. After the transport infrastructure variable is used instead of the transportation cost, the linear free capital model is analyzed numerically,And then obtains the mathematical expression of the economic impact of the traffic infrastructure. Then,on the basis of the spatial correlation between the traffic infrastructure and the economic agglomeration, the mathematical expression is extended to the spatial measurement model Empirical analysis. In the empirical analysis, the first part of the use of China's 30 provincial-level administrative data of 19 years of spatial measurement analysis to study the transport infrastructure on the economic agglomeration spillover effect, the second part of the use of the same data and combined with Hansen(1999)threshold panel model This paper studies the threshold effect of traffic infrastructure on economic agglomeration.Through theoretical analysis and empirical research, this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)Long-term equilibrium solution and spatial measurement model of linear free capital model The empirical results show that the traffic infrastructure is not only an important factor affecting the degree of economic agglomeration but also has spillover effect on economic agglomeration. In addition, the empirical results of spatial metrology model also show that there is a significant positive spillover effect between the local market size and the economic agglomeration in different geographical space units.(2)Exploratory spatial data analysis results and Moran's index show that there is a clear positive correlation between economic agglomeration and 30 provincial-level administrative regions in China.(3)The empirical results of dual-threshold panel model show that the influence of traffic infrastructure on economic agglomeration shows a significant double-threshold effect, and the threshold effect of different kinds of transportation infrastructure on economic agglomeration is different. On this basis, combined with the actual situation of China's economic and social development, this paper puts forward relevant policy recommendations to make better use of the transportation infrastructure to promote the economic agglomeration of our provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities),promote the balanced development of regional economy,Develop the gap and speed up the process of sharing the national economy.
