As the meat and egg type of excellent local level varieties in Hebei Province,Taihang chicken is the first local brand chicken that pass the identification of the National Commission on Genetic Resources.Its industrial development has an important influence on the region economy development.Therefore,it is necessary to support the development of ecological animal husbandry,realize the transformation and upgrading of the industry,accelerate the development of the mountainous economy in the western part of Handan,and solve the poverty of the mountain population.Well developing in taihang chicken industry is the key to improve the city economic development pace.Through consulting the literature,visiting research and field survey,understanding the current situation of Taihang chicken farming in western mountainous area of Handan City,the paper find out the existing problems in current Taihang chicken industry development.It is find that Taihang chicken farming in western mountainou area of Handan City are a variety of messy,the lack of unified site planning,low production levels,high cost of farming,low level of specialization,lack of ideology,disease prevention and control problems prominent,weak awareness of animal welfare,unreasonable grazing and other issues,which are restricted Taihang chicken development in western mountain industry.In order to solve these problems,Firstly,scientific planning and development of Taihang chicken ecological should be made while breeding at the same time,which not only needs stocking but also scientific layout of the hen house and pasturing area,regular rotation of the grazing land and ensuring the recycle of resources and environment in the stocking area use.Secondly,to establish and improve good propagation system to meet the market demand for high-quality Taihang chicken.Thirdly,improve the management of aquaculture technology,research and development for Taihang chickens fed in different seasons feed standards.Beside,taking care of disinfection and isolation and prevention of biological safety measures,prevente and control the occurrence of epidemics.Finally,through policy encouragement and science and technology support to promote the standardization and specialization of Taihang chicken farming,we can achieve the efficient and stable development of Taihang chicken breeding and produce green,safe and pollution-free chicken egg products to enhance our brand competitiveness.
