Improvement Of CFQF’s Material Management Process Based On ERP

Within the rapidly increasing market competition of commercial vehicle business,cost evaluation management becomes an emerging affair in the field of manufacturing enterprises.One of the most considerable part is material cost.It is a critical challengeto optimize the processing of material management,which can establish a theoretical basis to not only reduce the material cost but enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning)plays a irreparable role in modern enterprise management,whose theory and applications are widely existed.With the use of ERP,the material cost of a enterprise can be effectively reduced.This paper presents a conclusion and guidance,via summarizing the current ERP management situation of an automobile engine manufacturing factory,namely Chengdu Chengfa Automobile Engine CO.,LTD(hereinafter referred to as CFQF).This paper is aiming at giving comments for the material cost of this company.Firstly,this paper introduces the material management related theory of ERP management system and gives a brief overview of the process management theory.Secondly,a brief introduction of the companies’ business situation,as well as the company ERP system,regulations and the problems in the material management are given.And,the fourth chapter analyzes the key problems in the material management.At last,those problems are solved by combining with the theory,methods,and application of ERP system.By using the ECRS analysis,fishbone diagram,and other tools to optimize the material management process,the optimization schemes are verified in the company.The results demonstrate that using these schemes can solve the problems in the material management effectively,and can improve the material management level of a company.
