As an important part of a country's taxation system,the preferential tax policies are also significant measures to intervene economic development.With the final stage of china's economic and social development into a well-off society,coordinating regional development becomes the key work area in this new economic situation.As a less developed border ethnic minority city,Hulunbuir city processes a number of preferential tax policies to support the region's development.Based on the example of Hulunbuir city,by analysing the preferential tax policies of the city,including the introdution of preferential tax policies and its implementation,this paper then points out the positive effects on the economy and the problems in the process of carrying out those policies,further then gives advice on improving preferential tax policies of this city.
