"Chinese decentralization" is the basic institutional background of China in the transition period. Its core connotation is economic decentralization under political centralization.Under the background of the unique system of our country, many scholars have conducted in-depth research on the impact of fiscal decentralization, especially the relationship between fiscal decentralization and economic growth. While exploring the influencing factors of China's rapid and rapid economic development,We must also consider the issue of income inequality among residents. With the rapid economic development as a whole, the issue of the income gap between regions in our country deserves our attention. If the disparity in income distribution is too large to be solved, the people's right of free choice will be unbalanced. As a result, the "structural breakdown" of the entire society will not be conducive to the balanced development of all regions of our country.Under the special decentralized system in our country,it is of vital importance to give full play to the regulatory role of finance in the distribution of income. It also deserves our further study on how to strike a reasonable balance between economic development and the regulation of income distribution. This is because it is not only the pursuit of "equality" itself, but also the sustainable development of society as a whole and the economy as a whole.Regulating the income gap is also a public good that the community needs. It needs the financial system to play a role and continuously improve. On the basis of fully absorbing the previous research results, this paper combs the theoretical mechanism of the impact of fiscal decentralization on the income gap between residents and re-measures the fiscal decentralization and the income gap among different regions. In the empirical part,Decentralization and income gap between the dynamic panel data model, the theoretical analysis of the relationship between the theoretical verification, with a view to provide the impact of the preparation for the formulation of policies to provide the basis for implementation, improve the level of government decision-making.Therefore,this article has certain theoretical and practical value in the research on fiscal decentralization and interregional income disparity. The structure of this paper is as follows: The first chapter is an introduction.Through expatiating the research background and significance,I deeply understand the purpose of this paper, sort out the related research results, introduce the main research contents, research methods, innovations and deficiencies. The second chapter mainly explains the theoretical mechanism that affects the income gap among different regions under the fiscal decentralization. It mainly introduces the basic theory of fiscal decentralization and the income gap among regions, analyzes the mechanism of the impact of fiscal decentralization on the income gap,Provide the theoretical basis for the following. The third chapter is the characteristic analysis and measurement of fiscal decentralization.Mainly analyze the characteristics of China's fiscal decentralization and re-measure.The fourth chapter is the evolutionary trend and measure of the income gap among residents in different regions. It mainly analyzes the evolvement tendency of the income gap between residents in different regions and determines the remeasurement of the method to measure the income gap between residents. The fifth chapter is the empirical analysis of the impact of fiscal decentralization on the income gap between regions. As there may be some endogeneity in the income gap between residents, the dynamic panel data model is adopted in this paper. The fixed-effect panel data model is further constructed through the test of the model, and the control variables that may affect the income gap are introduced into the model,Such as the level of economic development, the degree of opening to the outside world, population structure and other variables, the empirical results show that the higher the fiscal decentralization area, the smaller the income gap between residents, that is,the higher the degree of fiscal decentralization in the eastern region, its resident income The difference is smaller than the central and western regions with lower fiscal decentralization. The sixth chapter puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions based on the analysis results in the previous chapter.
