Commercial banks are in the core position of China's financial service industry,enjoying the dividends of system and policy for a long time.Most domestic financial businesses are monopolized by commercial banks.The internet finance has rapidly expanded from the embryonic stage in recent ten years,which has caused some impacts on the traditional business of commercial banks.New internet-finance modes such as P2 P network lending,crowd-funding,Yu'e Bao and third-party payment have sprung up,rapidly bringing the masses into the era of digitalization,informatization and networking,and having a significant impact on people's lifestyles.Internet-finance services not only penetrate into the most basic deposit and loan business,but also cover the construction and promotion of the platform of investment and financing.Which is making a significant impact on many businesses of commercial banks.Commercial banks have to re-examine their traditional business model.With the advent of big data era,it is imperative to carry out a reform that based on " internet plus" mode for commercial banks.In 2015,many banks have successively launched their own internet operation platforms,and many banks have set up internet-finance departments to provide services related to internet financial products.Obviously,the appearance of internet financial products will change the profitability model of banks.Some hidden costs and opportunity costs will increase.For example,if customers are not satisfied with internet-finance products that developed by commercial banks,they may cancel other businesses that handled in this bank.Because of the periodicity of updating for products,banks may not get enough income from their investment.The business of internet-finance products will inevitably bring significant benefits,but the consumption base of costs is also huge.So it is necessary to study the relationship between internet-finance products and bank performance.Firstly,I clarifies the concept and scope of commercial bank's internet-finance products.Then I analyzes the current development situation of commercial bank's financial products business,and I demonstrates the necessity of the research in a theoretical perspective.According to that,I puts forward four corresponding hypotheses and extracts related variables.This article takes 16 banks listed in China as the objects,and the selected sample period is 2009-2017.The part of the empirical analysis quantifies the performance level of commercial banks,and sets up variables to study from three aspects,namely,the profitability,liquidity and safety.By studying the influence of the scale of commercial banks' internet financial products business and the stickiness of financial products users on their performance,the conclusions are as follows:(1)the transaction scale of commercial banks' internet financial products business has significant negative correlation influence on the performance of banks;(2)the number of active users in internet financial products business of commercial banks has a significant positive correlation with the performance of banks;(3)there is no significant correlation between the trading scale of internet financial products in five state-owned banks and the performance of banks;(4)there is a positive correlation between the number of active users in internet financial products business of five state-owned banks and the performance level of banks;(5)the transaction scale of non-state-owned five major banks to carry out internet financial products business has significant negative correlation effect on the performance of banks;(6)there is a positive correlation between the number of active users of internet financial products business in five major non-state-owned banks and the performance of banks.
