| In recent decades,China’s road construction has entered a phase of rapid development and has achieved a series of achievements.Especially in the eastern coastal areas,intensive road networks have played a huge role in promoting regional economic and social development,at the same time,it has created some contradictions with the protection of land resources in the surrounding areas.Specifically,the construction of roads can change the accessibility of a region,improve location conditions,promote the development of land resources along the region,and promote the rapid development of the local economy.However,at the same time,the construction of roads will also occupy or destroy large amounts of land resources along the line,especially high-quality cultivated land resources.At the same time,it will induce excessive and disorderly expansion of construction land and rural residential areas along the line.In addition,roads will also lead to the fragmentation of land-use landscapes and affect the regional ecological pattern.As a typical representative province in the eastern coastal developed regions,Jiangsu Province not only has dense road networks and economic activity,but also bears important responsibilities for farmland protection and grain production.It can be said that how to coordinate the relationship between road development and land use in Jiangsu Province is also an important part of Jiangsu Province to achieve high quality development.This paper takes Jiangsu Province as the research object,combined with the land use data,road network data,social and economic data and so on,with the help of literature research,GIS analysis,landscape pattern analysis,Excel statistical method,correlation analysis,and other methods.This paper studies the differences in road development in different regions of Jiangsu Province.This paper analyzes the changes in land use along the roads at different levels and regions,and evaluates the correlation between road network spatial patterns and land use landscape patterns,and the coordination relationship between road network spatial patterns and construction land expansion.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Basic characteristics of road traffic.In general,the development level of road traffic in Jiangsu province is high,no matter the distribution of roads and other high grade roads,or the road density,road passenger traffic volume and road freight volume,which are in the forefront of the country.However,there are still certain differences between different regions:the road network in South of Jiangsu is dense and the density of roads is high,but because of the dense population of South of Jiangsu,per capita possession of road resources is not much.The density of road network in the North and Middle of Jiangsu Province is low,but because of its small population,the per capita possession of road resources is higher than that of South of Jiangsu area.In a comprehensive view,the road network density and the per capita road length in Zhenjiang and Lianyungang are both in the forefront of Jiangsu Province,the development level of road traffic is high,and the coordination with the population is also better.(2)The characteristics of land use structure change along the road.From the road type,the dynamic degree of land use,the degree of land use and its rate of change around the road are higher than the average level in Jiangsu province.It is also the same result from the perspective of regional type.It shows that the land use change in the surrounding area is more active.The dynamic degree of land use shows the pattern of national road>provincial road>expressway>county and townshiproad,South of Jiangsu>Middle of Jiangsu>North of Jiangsu.The land use degree presents the pattern of county and township road>national road>provincial road>expressway,North of Jiangsu>South of Jiangsu>Middle of Jiangsu;the change rate of land use degree shows the pattern of national road>provincial road>expressway>county and township road,South of Jiangsu>Middle of Jiangsu>North of Jiangsu.From the point of view of the road type,the influence of the national road and the provincial road on the land use is the most obvious.From the regional type,the land development of the North of Jiangsu has the greatest tendency to theroad,but the slowest development.(3)From the point of view of the increase and decrease of land use,the most significant feature of land use change around the road is the decrease of cultivated land and the increase of construction land and water area,and this decrease or increase is higher than the average level of Jiangsu province.Among them,the conversion of cultivated land to construction land along the national road is the most obvious,the proportion of woodland converted to cultivated land along the provincial road is higher,and the conversion of forest and grassland to the cultivated land along the county and township road is higher.The decrease of cultivated land along the roads is the most obvious in South of Jiangsu Province,the second is in Middle of Jiangsu Province and the least in North of Jiangsu Province.The proportion of grassland to water area is larger in Middle of Jiangsu Province.(4)From the point of view of road network centrality,the central high value area of Jiangsuroad network is mainly distributed in South of Jiangsu,Yangzhou,Lianyungang,Nantong and Xuzhou,which is in accordance with the spatial pattern of Jiangsu’s economic development and the regional traffic hub status of South of Jiangsu,Yangzhou,Lianyungang,Nantong and Xuzhou.On the whole,there is a certain correlation between the central level of road network and the landscape pattern of land use.The higher the center of the area,the higher the degree of landscape fragmentation and the landscape diversity,the degree of the rule of the patch shape is not the same.(5)From the view of the relationship between the road network structure and the expansion of the construction land,the road traffic advantage degree and the expansion difference index of construction land in Jiangsu show that the region of Middle of Jiangsu and South of Jiangsu is higher than that of North of Jiangsu,which is basically consistent with the regional difference of the overall economic development of Jiangsu province.From the point of view of coordination,most of the two are in the level of high coordination and basic coordination,and the proportion of the low degree coordination areas is few.This shows that there is a certain degree of coupling and coordination between the road grid bureau and the expansion of construction land. |
