Tourism OFDI Risk Assessment And Prevention And Control Under The Background Of "the Belt And The Road"

In 2013,Xi Jinping proposed the construction initiative of"The Belt and the Road",it will help accelerate the development of outbound investment in tourism,at the same time,the tourism industry has a prominent advantage in strengthening"The Belt and the Road" construction.China International Travel Service Limited,Head Office(Abbreviations: CITS)is the largest and most valuable travel enterprise in China,CITS mainly engaged in travel agency services and duty-free sales business,Since its establishment,the scale of Outward foreign direct investment(OFDI)has been expanding.After 2013,CITS has begun to focus on areas along"The Belt and the Road" routes,but there was geopolitics risk,policy changes,economic and financial risk,non-traditional security issues,so it's really important to evaluate correctly and prevent and control risks.This paper studied these risks of tourism OFDI under the background of"The Belt and the Road".This thesis was divided into six parts:First of all,we introduced the purpose,significance and research status of this paper,combed the present research of risk assessment and prevention and control of OFDI in China's tourism industry,and then we determined the research method,content,and data source of this paper.Second based on quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis,this paper summarized the situation of OFDI of Chinese tourism in the context of"The Belt and the Road",and analyzed the opportunities and challenges brought by"The Belt and the Road" to tourism OFDI,Then mainly introduced the development history,the OFDI status and the operating entities abroad of CITS.The third part assessed the political risk,economic risk,social and cultural risks,industry resources and infrastructure risks of the countries along"The Belt and the Road" by descriptive analysis,and summarized the possible risks based on the OFDI process of CITS.The foth part made factor analysis of these four risks.The fifth part put forward the risk prevention and control suggestions in order to provide reference for CITS.The last part summarized the research results and the insufficient.This paper analyzed the macro risks and the causing reasons in China tourism OFDI based on"The Belt and the Road",it enriched the connotation of foreign investment risk theory,and also provided feasible and rationalization proposals for CITS to grasp the opportunities of"The Belt and the Road",it will help CITS to improve the investment quality and efficiency.
