Privatization And Relist On A-share Market Of US-traded Chinese Stocks

Since 2010,many concept stocks of Chinese enterprises in the US capital market exiting the US market by the way of privatization,want to relist in our domestic market,which set off a wave of privatization.And there are both winners and losers in this movement.On the basis of summarizing the status of Chinese concept stocks privatization,this paper focused on analyzing the program of the privatization and relisting of the Home Inn.And through the in-depth analysis of this case,it will provide inspiration for other Chinese concept stocks when they have a selection of privatization to relist on domestic capital market.Meanwhile,it could provide some advices to our regulatory authorities,and improve the relevant capital market regulatory mechanism to guide the excellent overseas listed companies to relist in our domestic marketFirstly,this paper study the related literature of current Chinese concept shares privatization,and then confirm the related theories and concepts combined with the current case.Meanwhile,it analyses the privatization and relisting behavior,including privatization motivation,risk and development status;and this paper in-deeply analyzes the path and the risk in it on the two stages about the privatization and the subsequent return to the domestic market in.Secondly,this paper analyzes the core case—Home Inn.Start with introduction of this company,it analyzes the motivation of privatization,and then respectively analyzes the case,relisting time,price making and innovation on the basis of outlines of the privatization and relisting path,which reflects the specific effects of Home Inn case.Finally,the research presents the conclusion and enlightenment through the analysis of the case.It meant to be able to provide reference for other companies in the stock market,and to give the necessary inspiration for domestic policy regulators,companies involved and other related parties.
