Private Banks are the fresh blood of China's banking system. At present, the research of private Banks in China defines the private Banks from the qualitative point of view.In 1996,the first private bankc called MinSheng Bank is established,China's private Banks have been in the development stage, but the developments also face all kinds of problems. With the expansion of China's marketization, private Banks have provided strong support to improve the financial system as a result of the development of The Times. The evaluation about the performance of commercial banks include financial ratio analysis,EVA model,Balanced scorecard and factor analysis. This paper uses the factor analysis to assess the performance of private banks, selecting the datas of 19 private from 2011 to 2016,and building an evaluation system based on 14 indicators such as the capital adequacy ratio, return on equity. The model analyses the performance of the private banks based on the score of comprehensive factors of each year as a quantitative index of performance level.Based on the score of comprehensive factors in the fourth chapter, the paper uses multiple regression to choose four representative indicators from four factors. After the measurement and the analysis of regression, the main factors influencing the performance are found. Finally, based on the empirical results and the current situation of China's banking industry,it is found that the healthy development of private Banks needs both the support of policies and the optimization of their own business models.Through an empirical study on the performance of private Banks,it can be found that different indexes have different influences on their results, which also provides a more powerful theoretical support for the improvement of performance.
