In recent years,China's rural tourism has developed rapidly,and the recognition of rural tourism has gradually increased.However,there are many problems in the development of rural tourism,such as slow development,unbalanced development and unsustainable development model.For these problems,intellectuals also made a lot of research both at home and abroad,but there was no continuous concrete on the development of rural tourism in-depth and comprehensive research,therefore,this article choose in the geographical position is superior,all kinds of resources are rich,rapid economic development,is rapid development of tourism industry in wuhan city,hubei province as the research object,using literature research,comparative analysis,research methods such as questionnaire and depth interview method,find out the problems of wuhan rural tourism development process,the rural tourism development at home and abroad on the basis of practical experience,and then respectively the basic characteristics of rural tourism in wuhan tourists and operators and behavior were analyzed,and feasible countermeasures of the development of rural tourism in wuhan city,so as to promote rural tourism the sustainable and healthy development of wuhan city.Finally,the following results are summarized:(1)in recent years,the countryside in wuhan has achieved gratifying achievements;First,the government attaches great importance to the development of tourism resources.The second is the continuous improvement of rural tourism infrastructure and the continuous improvement of service level.Third,the rural tourism products are constantly enriched,and the experience projects are increasing.Fourthly,the brand awareness of rural tourism enterprises is constantly strengthened,and the festival tour is quietly emerging.Fifth,the results of the "three townships project",relying on rural tourism to alleviate the effects of poverty.(2)there are still many problems in the development of rural tourism in wuhan.Structural imbalance,supply and demand contradiction;Tourism products lack features and poor experience;Inadequate infrastructure construction and defective services;There is a shortage of professional talents and outdated management style.(3)rural tourism experience at home and abroad: first,it pays attention to government policy support;Second,focus on developing characteristic tourism products;Third,focus on diversified marketing strategies.(4)the development of wuhan rural tourism should be: Scientific planning and timely development;Insist on government guidance and market dominance;Develop featured products and establish brand image;Accelerating infrastructure construction and improving service quality;Strengthen personnel training and innovate management methods;Expand publicity and improve marketing level.
