In the past decade,e-commerce is developing rapidly,enterprises has encountered such problems about how to expand the logistics center and retain the profit at low cost.Since logistics cost can account for a large part of the total cost of enterprises,careful management,including selecting products from designated storage locations,is labor-intensive.In fact,it may occupy 60% of all the label activities in the warehouse,accounting for 65% of all operating expenses.Synnex is the third largest IT distributor in the United States and its distribution center is distributed in major cities in North America and Canada.The company’s business has evolved from the original B2 B model to a mixed model of B2 B and B2 C.The changes in business models have led to a sharp increase in the quantity of orders and the variety and complexity of the types of goods in the order.The distribution center of Synnex is faced with the problem that the efficiency of picking out the warehouse is not high and the cost of personnel is relatively high.Based on the actual practice of SYNNEX Location#3,storage location and order to improve the picking efficiency we choose the optimal batch picking point analysis.In terms of location analysis,ABC classification and order association rules are used to optimize location of products and shorten picking distance.In order batch picking optimization research,cluster analysis is applied to optimize batching algorithm,and statistical method is applied to verify the results.
