In this paper,we consider a non-autonomons thermoelastic system with a bound-ary cdelay and obtain the asymptotic behavior,then using the contractive function nmethod and multiplier techniques,we establish the asyniptotic behavior and the ex-istence of a uniform attractor of the system with a boundary time delay.The main advantage of this method is that we only need to verify compactness condition with the type of energy estimates same as those for establishing the absorbing set.Moreovtwr we investigate an alternative result of solutions to semilinwear thermoelastic systems by virtue of the semigroup method.
