Double-layer structure space characteristics of karst geological environment formed a bilayer hydrographic net that includes the earth's surface and underground water.Underground hydrographic net usually developed much well,it will make surface water serious leakage and cause a severe drought and water shortage.Heterogeneity of karst water has brought great difficulties to karst water geophysical exploration work,so that the rate of supplying water exploration holes into the wells in karst areas is very low.This paper analyzes the key geological problems in karst areas to find water.Based on that,combined with the existing exploration results and "groundwater exploration in the Southwest serious water-shortage of China" geological survey project in 2010,focused on the geophysical prospecting technology research,and proposed the Southwest karst mountain area of groundwater exploration of new ideas,and provided guidance and services to human and animal drinking water in karst area.The main research results are summarized as follows:For southern karst hydrogeological characteristics,we explore suitable geophysical exploration technology patterns to find water in emergency.It explains that on the basis of ascertain distribution regularity of karst individual form,we need determine the general location and planar extension direction of karst or structure,select target areas for water.Subsequently carry out high-resolution bathymetric AMT method to identify lithology and structure development characteristics,combined hydrogeological data,quickly and accurately determine the well location.This paper analyzes the mountains geophysical methods commonly used to find water on the basis of the technical features,established principles of Geophysical Methods looking for water on the mountains.Geophysical Methods' chosen in the economic and efficient premise,to consider the hydrogeological conditions,site conditions and suitability interfering factors,combination of methods to consider methods for water storage structures and technical features,try to choose different the combination types of methods.Through exploration and practice,this paper discusses the nature of karst water storage structure filling the discriminant problem,summed up the "find low resistance in high resistance,find high resistance in low resistance",avoided argillaceous filling,improved the success rate of well.At the same time,based on the analysis of geological concept model of water storage structure in karst area,established the concept model of geological and geophysical of water storage structure and analyzed the electrical response characteristics.
