Chrysomphalini belongs to subfamily Aspidiotinae,family,Diaspididae,superfamily Coccoidea,suborder Sternorryncha,order Hemiptera.All species of the tribe are important pests in agriculture,forests and flowers industry.Many of them are quarantine pests in the world.Therefore,the taxonomic studies on Chrysomphalini has important theoretical and practical significance.This study reviewed the taxonomic history of Chrysomphalini from China,by identifying the specimens from Insect Museum of Northwest A & F University,Shanghai Institute of Entomology of Chinese Academy of Science,to study the classification of the population of the tribe Chrysomphalini,recording and describing 42 species in the 7 genera of Chrysomphalini,including two new species,and keys to genera and species are provided,and the morphological characteristics of most species of the tribe are drawn and described in detail,including the male adult and nymph,whose characteristics are rarely used for classification by Chinese taxonomists.In the end,geographical distribution of the population of the tribe Chrysomphalini is analysised in brief.The new taxa are listed as follows:New species: Hemiberlesia serrulata sp.nov.;Chrysomphalus podocarpus sp.nov..
