Typhoon is one of the most destructive natural disasters,and China is one of the countries most affected by typhoon in the world.Since 1949,affected by the typhoon in the northwest Pacific,Chinese annual economic losses have been between 2 and 10 billion yuan,and the death toll is between 100 and 1,000.To manage typhoon data with more efficient means and improve the efficiency of typhoon research is an effective measure to reduce typhoon disasters.WebGIS is a combination of GIS and Internet technology.It is an important part of GIS research.It not only has the functions of GIS data management and spatial analysis,but also has the characteristics of Internet information distribution and data sharing.This is typhoon information.The publishing and data sharing provide a good platform.This article uses the "Weather Research Plan(2013-2020)","National Meteorological Modernization Development Outline(2015-2030)","Modern Meteorological Forecast Business Development Plan(2016-2020)" and "Special Plan for Meteorological Satellite Data Application(2016-2020)is a guide to study how to use WebGIS to provide services for typhoon information systems.To meet the needs of the meteorological disaster prevention and reduction industry and the sustainable economic and social development,and to promote the objective quantitative analysis and application capabilities of the new generation Fengyun 4 meteorological satellite products in severe weather monitoring and forecasting such as typhoon,rainstorm,strong convection,and sea fog,and realize The application of space-based meteorological monitoring data in the field of severe weather monitoring and forecasting services will increase the level of monitoring,forecasting,and early warning services for severe weather such as typhoons,heavy rain,strong convection,and sea fog.This paper first analyzes the characteristics of WebGIS and its application in the field of typhoon.Based on the analysis of the characteristics of existing typhoon applications,the data sets of historical typhoon satellite sites in the northwest Pacific and South China Sea and typhoon satellite sites in global history are established.The library realizes the real-time display and application of satellite cloud maps of historical typhoons in the Pacific Northwest and South China Sea and global historical typhoons.The characteristics of various development platforms were analyzed,and a smart typhoon application system based on webgis technology and big datatechnology was designed.The data organization,function design and technical implementation of the system were described in detail.Finally,the main work of this paper is summarized.Typhoon information is efficiently searched and analyzed,but there is still much room for optimization in the performance of modules such as statistical analysis.
