Since the reform and opening up,with the continuous development of China's social economy,the shortage of land resources in coastal areas has become a bottleneck for sustainable development.To deal with this problem,coastal provinces and cities all choose to expand their own development space through the sea reclamation project.However,while the sea reclamation project has brought about tremendous social and economic benefits,the negative impact on the environment has become increasingly prominent.The bay region is less affected by wind and waves,coastline twists and turns,especially favored by local governments and companies,many sea reclamation projects are located inside the bay.The environmental quality of the bay is not only affected by land-based sewage disposal,but also affected by sea reclamation projects.The emissions of suspended solids,domestic sewage,and oily sewage from ships during the construction of sea reclamation projects directly affect the marine water environment and sediment environment.The changes in hydrodynamics,erosion and siltation,and the reduction in the amount of tidal flows after the completion of the project have indirectly affected the environmental quality of the bay.To avoid the deep and long-lasting environmental adverse effects caused by excessive disorderly sea reclamation,China has formulated a series of environmental protection measures in response to the sea reclamation,put forward requirements such as "Scientifically determining the scale of sea reclamation" and"Scientific allocation of sea reclamation".The unique geographical position of the bay determines that the changes in its environmental quality are affected by many factors,to what extent is it affected by reclamation projects?How related?In particular,the cumulative impact of multiple reclamation projects over the years is the focus of this paper.This paper collates and analyzes the situation of sea reclamation and the environmental quality of Shacheng Harbor in Fujian Province in the past ten years.Estimated source strength of major pollutants in Shajing Harbor in the past ten years.Using methods such as grey correlation analysis to compare the impact of major pollutant discharges and sea reclamation projects on the environmental quality of the bay.Analyzes the correlation between the size of the sea reclamation and the environmental quality indicators of the bay.The paper has obtained the following research results:(1)According to the relevant data of the sea reclamation project in Shacheng Harbour,the total sea reclamation area of Shacheng Harbor from 2008 to 2016 was 533.56 hm2,accounting for approximately 6.13%of the area of the Shacheng Harbor.The analysis shows that the scale of the sea reclamation is generally decreasing year by year,and the overall distribution of sea reclamation projects decreases from northwest to southeast.(2)According to the Fuding City Statistical Yearbook and other relevant data,the main pollutants entering the sea from the year of 2008 to 2016 in the Shacheng Harbor were classified and estimated.TN and TP increased from 4064.85t and 779.13 t in 2008 to 5047.41 t and 1053.63 t in 2016,showing an upward trend year by year.CODcr decreased from 10573.04 t in 2008 to 10389.74 t in 2016,showing a fluctuated downward trend.(3)According to the results of "Monitoring the Environmental Quality of the Major Bays in Fujian Province",the interannual variability of the three indicators of ammonia nitrogen,labile phosphate,and chemical oxygen demand from the Shacheng Harbor from 2008 to 2016 were used to analyze the changes in water environment quality.Ammonia nitrogen and labile phosphate were found to be on the rise overall,chemical oxygen demand overall showed a downward trend,and water environment quality generally showed a downward trend.(4)The correlation degree between TN source intensity and seawater ammonia nitrogen concentration was 0.7844,and the correlation degree between accumulated sea reclamation area and seawater ammonia nitrogen concentration was 0.7267,indicating that TN emissions have a greater impact on seawater ammonia nitrogen than sea reclamation,but the gap between the two factors was small.(5)The correlation degree between TP source intensity and seawater labile phosphate concentration was 0.8760,and the correlation degree between accumulated sea reclamation area and seawater labile phosphate concentration was 0.5823,indicating that TP emissions have a far greater impact on seawater labile phosphate than sea reclamation.(6)The correlation degree between CODcr source intensity and seawater COD concentration was 0.8006,and the correlation degree between accumulated sea reclamation area and seawater COD concentration was 0.5695,indicating that CODcr emissions have a far greater impact on seawater COD than sea reclamation.(7)The correlation degree between seawater petroleum concentration and sediment petroleum concentration was 0.6659,and the correlation degree between accumulated sea reclamation area and sediment petroleum concentration was 0.5724,indicating that seawater petroleum have a greater impact on sediment petroleum than sea reclamation,but two factors was not high and the gap was small.(8)The Pearson correlation coefficient between sea reclamation area and seawater ammonia nitrogen concentration was 0.489,indicating that there was a moderate positive correlation between sea reclamation area and seawater ammonia nitrogen concentration,the increase in sea reclamation area was accompanied by a certain amount rise of seawater ammonia nitrogen.(9)The Pearson correlation coefficient between accumulated sea reclamation area and seawater labile phosphate concentration was 0.584,indicating that there was a moderate positive correlation between accumulated sea reclamation area and seawater labile phosphate concentration,the increase in accumulated sea reclamation area is accompanied by a certain amount rise of seawater labile phosphate.
