Wuling Mountain area is located in the southwest of China.The climate is warm and humid.With the complex topography,abundant vegetation and large area,it provides a stable and suitable shelter for the survival and survival of all kinds of plants and animals.The resources of species are very abundant.It is a hot area of biodiversity research.Spider specimen collected in recent three years are used to do classical taxonomy study of Gnaphosidae and Clubionidae spiders from the Wuling Mountain,aimed at update resource information and provide high resolution picture to improve this area biodiversity database and provide spider species identification picture.This article is divided into 4 parts.Part ?made a brief introduction of biodiversity in Wuling Mountain,especially spider species diversity.Describe the general information of the family Gnaphosidae and Clubionidae,system of classification,morphological characters,living habit and economic significance.Part ? described 33 spider species:17 Gnaphosidae species belonging 11 genera and 15 Clubionidae species belonging 2 genera.Provide each species morphological descriptions,illustrations and geography data,comparison the similar species identification character.In part ?,we give the taxonomic results,in Gnaphosidae:a new species Sergiolus fanjing sp.nov and three new records of Wuling Mountains,Synaphosus daweiensis,Pseudodrassus pichoni,Zelotes sanmen;in Clubionidae:a new species Clubiona lamellaris sp.nov.and five new records of Wuling Mountains,Clubiona kurosawai,Clubiona phragmitoides,Clubiona pollicaris,Clubiona yaginumai,Pristidia ramosa.Last,we present the high resolution photos of spiders for species identification.
