Wuling mountains located at the junction of central China and southwest China,and it is one of the hot spots in biodiversity surveys in recent years.This article uses spider specimens collected in the Wuling Mountains in the past 6 years to conduct taxonomic research on spiders of the family Thomisidae and Philodromidae,hoping to play a certain role in the study of Thomisidae and Philodromidae in this region and even in the whole country.This paper is divided into four parts,The first section,the pandect part introduces the research history of spiders of the two families,the research status of spider diversity in the area,and the morphological characteristics of spiders of the two families,materials and methods et.In the second section,the monograph part describes the species in detail in 15 genera 27 species of family Thomisidae,and 2 species 2 genera in family Philodromidae,points out the distinguishing characteristics and the distribution of each species.In the third result and discussion part,the result found: a new species of Diaea tianpingnesis sp.nov.and8 new record species in the Wuling Mountains were found: Alcimochthes meridionalis,Angaeus liangweii,Borboropactus biprocessus,Epidius armatus,Epidius gongi,Oxytate forcipata,Phrynarachne ceylonica,Phrynarachne ceylonica.And the problems and improvement methods in the research process of this article are discussed.The finally section,the picture part provides overall photos of the species described in the monograph and high-resolution pictures of the external genitalia to facilitate species identification.
