The Yinggehai Basin is the key and difficult point in China's offshore oil and gas exploration work.It is located in the South China Sea region.According to the current exploration results,it shows that the reserves of natural gas in the basin are abundant, and due to its geographical location close to the mainland,it is relatively easy to extract and transport and it is easier to achieve the task of natural gas extraction. However, during the exploration process, the sedimentary system in the Yinggehai Basin is extremely complex and it is difficult to use traditional analysis. Therefore, the geological analysis of the existing exploration results in the Yinggehai Basin is required to obtain the middle and shallow natural gas reserves in the Yinggehai Basin, which provides a theoretical reference for the later exploration direction. This study first analyzed the geological conditions in the Yinggehai Basin, and discussed the formation mechanism of the Yinggehai Basin from the perspective of sedimentary facies, and based on the evolutionary characteristics of the eastern region, the main geological impacts of the reservoir were analyzed, and then based on the reservoirs.Physical property parameters, petrological characteristics and other indicators were used to evaluate reservoir classification. The main conclusions of this study are as follows: First of all,on the basis of laboratory experiment analysis and core observation data,in-depth discussion on the petrological characteristics, diagenesis, pore structure and reservoir properties of the Yinggehai Basin, and the reservoirs in the Yinggehai Basin after comparison China Eastern 13 th District has good physical properties.Second, the main factors influencing reservoir physical properties in the Yinggehai Basin are sedimentary facies, diagenesis, and high-temperature and ultra-highpressure effects.By comparing the effects of compaction, cementation, and dissolution on the physical properties of the reservoir, and comparing the effects of ultra-high pressure on diagenesis, the main controlling factors of reservoir physical properties were further demonstrated.Third, through the study of various major controlling factors of Yinggehai reservoir properties combined with previous research experience, the evaluation of midshallow reservoirs in the Yinggehai Basin was conducted. The last, the high temperature and high pressure in the eastern area of the Yinggehai Basin is mainly caused by the underpressure in the basin settlement process. In addition, the deep hydrocarbon generationperiod supercharging due to a large amount of high temperature, and finally the diapirism will also play a role.As a result, the pressure in the deep part of the basin is decompressed toward the earth's surface, resulting in the phenomenon of ultra-high temperature and ultra-high pressure. The Huangliu Formation is a high-temperature and high-pressure area, and the Yinggehai Formation is an area with normal temperature and pressure.
