With the development of electrical technology,soft magnetic materials are more and more widely used in a variety of electrical equipment,electromagnetic properties of soft magnetic materials largely determine the performance of electrical equipment.As an important part of the magnetic properties of soft magnetic materials,the study of hysteresis characteristics will provide great convenience for the application of soft magnetic materials and electrical equipment designing.Meanwhile,the hysteresis loss due to hysteresis in the soft magnetic material during magnetization is one of the important components of iron loss of various electrical equipments.Calculatiion of the hysteresis loss by means of the hysteresis characteristics also helps to find the most economical state of operation for various soft Magnetic materials,which also provides guidance for the design and manufacture of electrical equipment.In this paper,the measurement method of soft magnetic materials is introduced firstly,then the limited hysteresis loop,first-order reversal curves(FORCs)and high-order reversal curves(HORCs)of silicon steel magnetic ring are measured by using Changsha Tianheng TD8220 Soft Magnetic DC Test System.Then the hysteresis characteristics of the silicon steel magnetic ring are simulated based on the Preisach model.Based on the congruence property of the model,the generation method of the high-order reversal curves by using Everett Function and given reversal points is deduced.Compared with the experimental measurement data,the accuracy of the method is verified.Then,the hysteresis loss characteristics under non-sinusoidal excitation of silicon steel sheets were measured by Brockhaus MPG200D arbitrary waveform test system.The hysteresis loss of hysteresis loops with different amplitudes and different numbers of minor hysteresis loops was deduced respectively.Calculated results under different conditions are compared with the experimental measurement results to verify the accuracy of the method.
