The Kushikuduk gold mining area is located in the northwestern part of Xinjiang, the west side of the Junggar Basin, and the southern edge of the Tayung Basin. In the administrative area,it belongs to the Toli County in the Tacheng area of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The region is rich in mineral resources and has a large variety of mineral resources. It is a major county of mineral resources in the Xinjiang region.Among them, gold production and reserves in the region occupy the first place in the Xinjiang Autonomous Region, and this region is also a favorable location for finding metal, mineral resources such as iron, copper and chromium,as well as non-metallic mineral resources such as coal mines. The gold mining area is located in the central part of the Zaire gold belt, where many gold deposits ranging in size from large to small and more than 200 gold mineralization points have been discovered in the area. The research topic of this thesis relies on Professor He Mingyou's “Detailed investigation of the Kushikuduk gold mine in Toli County,Xinjiang” undertaken by the advisor, and selects the Kushikuduk gold mining area as the research object.A 1:10000 survey of the Kushikuduk gold mine area was carried out.The samples were collected and the samples were tested by atomic absorption spectrometry. The data of the tested elements was calculated and processed by SPASS software. On this basis, the distribution characteristics of some major metallogenic elements in the study area were analyzed, and the anomalous areas and multi-element comprehensive anomalies of each single element were delineated. Finally, combined with the geological background and gold mineralization characteristics of the area, the prospecting potential of the study area was evaluated.Through the above study,we reached the conclusion:1)A large range of basic volcanic tuffs are distributed in the study area. The background value of Au in this formation is relatively high, which can provide a material source for the formation of gold ore body.2)In this paper, the iterative method is used to obtain the lower limit of elemental anomalies, which is in line with the actual situation in the study area.Anomaly maps of the Au element were plotted. The anomalies were mainly concentrated in the southern and central parts of the study area. The distribution was relatively uniform and the local location was abnormally developed.3)Based on the factor analysis of the 12 elemental variables in the study area, the four factor combinations obtained by the KMO and Bartlett sphericity tests have a KMO value of 0.775,which is greater than 0.6.This data is suitable for factor analysis.4)The Au,As,Sb,Bi,Cu and Mo elements not only have the characteristics of large anomaly area, high strength, and obvious concentration center, but also the integration of these elements in the spatial location of the anomalies. And through the correlation analysis of these elements of the correlation is good,Au element and the above elements are closely related to the existence of the cause,so in the search for gold, has a good indication.5)Through the study of elemental geochemistry in the study area, two prospecting target areas have been delineated in the study area. The ore-finding target area has good metallogenic geological conditions, and the ore-bearing hydrothermal activity is intense.Close alterations associated with gold mineralization include silicification, pyrite mineralization, carbonation, and poison sand formation. In the study area,a continuous distribution of quartz veins showing fish school patterns is common. This shows that the target area has a good prospect for prospecting.
